Barnaby's
So tonight Airi and I met up with Jeff and Jenn to walk through IKEA and I could give Jeff his copy of Vista Ultimate. IKEA has continued to grow since the last time I was there last year. They are so huge now. We bought a few things and had to figure out where to go eat. Originally I wanted to go to Famous Dave's for their awesome ribs, but our friend Dave had already eaten, so it wasn't really worth the drive down to Puyallup. Instead, we decided to try a place we've driven by many times but never tried: Barnaby's. Their motto is "Beef, Bay, & Bottle" to mean steaks, seafood, and wine. Their prices were higher than anyone expected despite their Pirate ship looking exterior (and interior). We decided to stay anyways and I ended up getting the prime rib, Jeff and Jenn got some steaks, and Airi got the fish and chips. Overall, none of us were too satisfied with the food (high price or not). I was a little suspicious of the quality when we pulled into the less than half filled parking lot on a Saturday night right around dinner time. Suffice to say, we will not be going back there.

Sheri and I went there many moons ago, and I remember thinking pretty much the exact same thing.
Good to see they've changed...
cue the eye roll
I'm actually surprised how they stay in business given the prices and lack of customers
In all fairness, I don't consider 8pm "dinnertime". If we were there around 6pm & it was a ghost town, then I'd be concerned, fer shizzle.
but yeah... not very good.
